The team at Krol Corlett take on The Coniston Challenge

In support of Alder Hey Children’s Hospice the team at Krol Corlett had a successful weekend, commencing on 25th of September, as we successfully competed in the Coniston Challenge.

The challenge is designed for teams of varying abilities filled with an action packed, fun mix of forest tracks and trails, mountains, and a river canyon.

This triathlon is in support of Alder Hey Children’s Hospice raising vital funds to help make Alder Hey Children’s Hospital a truly world-class, patient-friendly hospital for the children and families they care for each year.

The challenge consists of a 10km trek up the Old Man of Coniston, followed by a 17km bike ride through the Grizedale Forest, ending with a 3km kayak across Coniston Water.

Tom Hughes, John McGowan, and Toni Connelly were brave enough to conquer this challenge and raise awareness for the great continuous work provided by Alder hey Children’s Hospice in support of the Hospital.
